The SAGC09 Finals saw 32 finalists from nine qualifying states contending for the coveted Sudden Attack Grand Champion Trophy along with the RM12,000 cash prize money plus prizes from TOSHIBA and SteelSeries Professional Gaming Gear; SAGC official sponsors. Professional-gaming teams like the Asiasoft Online sponsored-teams, Team FMJ | Asiasoft.MY, Team LADY | Asiasoft.MY and Team ODY | Asiasoft.SG, along with Team DuskBin, Team CHRONOS [IMQ] and Team LZ graced the Finals with much fanfare and glamour as they brought the house down with their own set of supporters and clans to cheer them on.

It was an exciting showdown of top Sudden Attack heavyweights with the venue charged with an electrifying tournament atmosphere. The Sudden Attack gladiators slugged it out in the double-elimination process, providing much hype and enthusiasm right from the start.

The grand finale saw two seasoned pro-gaming teams going head-to-head for the first time, featuring Team FMJ | Asiasoft.MY and Team DuskBin[NAGA], as they battled in a hard-fought contest for the championship title. As expected, both sets of supporters and fans alike brought the house down as they roared their heroes to victory, in a dramatic finale which saw Team DuskBin[NAGA] trouncing Team FMJ | Asiasoft.MY 2-nil in a best-2-out-of-3 tie breaker match. With that superb win, Team DuskBin[NAGA] became the champions of the first-ever SAGC09.

Congratulations to Team Duskbin[NAGA], Champions of SAGC 2009! The 5-member team each took home a SteelSeries Xai Laser Mouse each as well as RM12,000 cash prize and winner medals from Asiasoft. Toshiba also made a surprise announcement to award the Champion team one unit of the newly launched Toshiba QOSMIO X500 Gaming Laptop worth RM8999. First Runner Up Team FMJ|Asiasoft.MY took home RM7,000 along with a SteelSeries Ikari Laser Limited Edition (Sudden Attack) Mouse and a medal each. Second Runner Up Team Chronos[iMQ] bagged RM5,000 along with a pair of SteelSeries Siberia Full-size Headset and a medal each.
